Dr. Princess Thomas Williams, a native of Columbus, Georgia, felt called to become a doctor during her very early years. Following her graduation from Tuskegee University, she obtained her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. During her general surgery residency at Mercer Medical, she developed a passion for diseases of the breast. Her interdisciplinary breast fellowship at Yale University allowed her to hone her diagnostic and breast surgical skills, and take part in research leading to conference presentations and first authorship of several manuscripts.

Dr. Princess has built a thriving breast practice, Breast Care Specialists of Carolina, in Mooresville, North Carolina, where she and her team treat a variety of breast diseases and wellness needs.

​

In addition, Dr. Princess is the proud owner of Birmingham Breast Care, carrying the torch forward from its foundation started over 30 years ago into the future of healthcare and wellness.

​

Expanding on her integrative approach to patient care, she founded The Breast and Wellness Collective, built upon the mission to redefine the standard of care by seamlessly uniting state-of-the-art medicine with proactive, compassionate wellness. The Breast and Wellness Collective takes a future-thinking approach to guide patients through advanced breast care, high-risk management and vibrant survivorship, providing integrative care that champions complete wellness for the body, mind, and spirit.

This mission perfectly reflects her longstanding advocacy for treating the whole person using an individualized and personalized approach. By combining the efforts of practices in both Alabama and North Carolina, she is able offer greater care and services to all patients. Dr. Princess is committed to providing women with breast care treatment options that suit their needs physically, emotionally, and spiritually, while never compromising the quality of care provided.

A member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Princess is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, one of surgery’s highest honors. With an unwavering commitment to excellence in breast cancer treatment and surgery, she is also hidden scar surgery certified.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Princess enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her two children. She thoroughly enjoys exercising, shopping, and bowling.
